  2021년 5월 17일 이후 영국의 락다운 규제가 완화됐다. 모든 규제가 사라진 것은 아니지만 레스토랑이나 펍에서 실내 취식이 가능해졌고, 많은 미술관 및 갤러리들도 다시 오픈을 할 수 있게 되었다. 작년부터 전시 관람은 꿈도 꾸지 못했는데, 이렇게 다시 기회가 생긴 만큼 주기적으로 전시 정보를 업데이트하면서 문화 생활을 시작해볼까 한다.

  여러 사이트의 문화 기사지들도 읽어보고 직접 미술관, 갤러리 사이트들을 방문해서 정보를 취합하는데 매우 개인적인 취향이 반영되었다. 런던에만 해도 미술관, 갤러리가 수백개이고 그 전체를 알아보고 전부 갈 수 없음은 이미 잘 알고 있는 바여서 (나를 위한 리스트인 만큼) 내가 끌리는 관심 있는 전시회만 업로드한다. 또한 큰 미술관일수록 미리 예정되어 있는 대규모 전시들이 많지만, 가능한 한 매 달 전시 정보를 업데이트하는 것이 목표여서, 각 포스팅을 작성하는 달을 기준으로 진행 중인 전시, 오픈 예정의 전시만을 짧은 리스트로 작성할까 한다. 이후에 관람 후기나 관련된 예술가 정보도 업로드 할 수 있기를 바래본다.

  Julian Opie 작품은 평소에도 관심있는 터라 전시 소식이 반갑긴 하지만, 해당 갤러리가 상당히 먼 거리에 있어서 고민이 된다. 심지어 내가 이전에 살던 지역보다 더 멀고 한번쯤 가봤던가, 가볼려고 했던 지역이었나 싶어서 선뜻 길 나서기가 어려울 듯 하다. 하지만 꼭 기회가 된다면 가보고 싶긴 해서 리스트에 올려둔다.
